We send out periodic emails with updates about the Project, along with meeting reminders and information about what the Friends are doing to protect our beautiful Park. We don’t spam, and we won’t sell or share your information.

For your convenience, the Friends of Robinson Park have created a form that, when submitted, instantly emails all seven Cheltenham Commissioners and Megan Hart. There are several checkboxes with which you can select issues that may be of concern to you, along with a place to enter your personal concerns.

Community Zoom Meetings
The Friends of Robinson Park hosts Community Zoom Meetings to provide information about the Constructed Wetland Project with the neighbors and other interested parties.
June 11th, 2024
The Friends of Robinson Park met with members of the community in advance of Cheltenham Township’s first design concept meeting.
In this meeting, we discussed our initial concerns with the Constructed Wetland Project and share information about how the Project dovetails with others in Cheltenham.
September 22nd, 2024
The Friends of Robinson Park met with members of the community in advance of Cheltenham Township’s second design concept meeting.
In this meeting, we discussed the various grants that the Township has applied for and been awarded, along with what questions were still outstanding after our first Community Zoom Meeting.
October 7th, 2024
The Friends of Robinson Park met with members of the community to debrief after the Township’s second design meeting.
In this meeting, we recapped some of the questions that remain outstanding, including those pertaining to grants, funding, and maintenance. Once our concerns were shared, the community engaged in a visioning exercise to highlight what we hope to see and achieve in the next iteration of Robinson Park.

On July 11th, 2024, The Friends of Robinson Park sent an open letter to Cheltenham Staff with our initial questions about the Wetland Enhancement Project. Staff responded with their answers to these questions, which we have organized in the document below.

On September 22nd, 2024, The Friends of Robinson Park sent another open letter to Cheltenham Staff with questions about the second design concept meeting, along with several of the grants that the Township has obtained to complete the Wetland Enhancement Project. We are still awaiting a response and will organize Staff’s reply, but you may view the questions at the document below.
