In January of 2024, State Rep. Napoleon Nelson announced that the proposed “Robinson Park Wetland Enhancement Project” would result in more than 13 tons of silt, annually, being funneled into Robinson Park.  In this three-part series, we examine what, exactly, is in that silt, and what dangers may be lurking for our community if the Project proceeds with no commitments from Cheltenham Township to ensure the safety of the Park’s ongoing ecosystem.

Our History

Home to a wide range of native flora and fauna and enjoyed by community members throughout the area, this 4.4-acre gem serves as the gateway to the Wyncote Historic District.

A beautiful respite at the heart of the community, Robinson Park is one of the only parks of its size in the immediate area that is both handicap accessible and safely traversable by pedestrians.
